Technical Strategy & Production Planning

Early-stage technical leadership to define production scope, delivery methodology, and technical requirements across all disciplines. This includes development of production strategies, technical specifications, equipment requirements, and budget alignment. Careful assessment of venue constraints, rigging capacity, power distribution, spatial planning, and safety considerations ensures the production framework is technically achievable and efficiently planned from the outset.

System Design & Production Engineering

Development of integrated technical designs supporting audio, lighting, video, staging, and control systems. Detailed production drawings and schematics are prepared using tools such as Vectorworks and ConnectCAD, including stage layouts, rigging plots, signal flow diagrams, equipment plans, and infrastructure schematics. This engineering process ensures system interoperability, efficient deployment, and reliable performance within the operational constraints of the venue and production environment.

Technical Coordination & Vendor Management

Coordination of technical vendors, production departments, and venue stakeholders to align all disciplines within a unified technical delivery plan. This includes management of production schedules, equipment procurement, technical documentation, and communication between departments including lighting, audio, video, staging, rigging, and broadcast. Close coordination ensures technical consistency, efficient installation workflows, and compliance with safety and venue operational requirements.

Rehearsals, Programming & Show Integration

Technical supervision during rehearsals to integrate all production systems into a cohesive operational workflow. This includes coordination of cue structures, timing integration between departments, system programming, and optimisation of show control processes. Through structured rehearsal management and technical refinement, all elements—including lighting cues, audio transitions, video playback, and automation—are aligned for reliable and repeatable show execution.

Show Delivery & Technical Execution

Technical direction during installation, live operation, and event delivery to ensure safe, precise, and consistent execution of the production. Oversight of bump-in, system commissioning, and final technical checks ensures all systems operate according to the production design. During live performance, technical leadership coordinates production teams and manages real-time technical decisions to maintain show continuity, technical reliability, and operational safety.
