Oliver & Rocio's Sunrise Ceremony

Important Information
From the beginning, we knew we didn’t want a traditional wedding. We decided to have a sunrise ceremony, followed by a light catered breakfast at the beautiful Opera House.
- Dress code
Cocktail/Formal. Yes, it is very early and you'd prefer to stay in your pyjamas, however, it is a wedding!
If you arrive early, we will have an indoor area for you to chill, so no stress! Better early than late.
Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get there, it takes roughly 10 minutes to get from the carpark exit or from the roundabout to the entrance of the venue, and we need everyone here by 6.15am sharp! The entrance will be situated in the concourse, underneath the Monumental Steps.
- Access by car
The easiest way to get here on the day is to drive in and park at the Wilsons car park. The entrance to the car park is on the roundabout at the front of the opera house, at the bottom of Macquarie Street.
Once you come out of the carpark, head north, passing the Opera Kitchen, until you see the escalator on your right. Take the escalator and walk straight, until you see the Joan Sutherland Theatre entrance. From there, there will be someone indicating you where to go.
- Roundabout drop off
If you decide to get a cab, the drop off is at the Opera House roundabout, at the bottom of Macquarie Street.
From there, walk toward the Opera House. The entrance to the venue is in the concourse under the steps. Walk straight, until you see the Joan Sutherland Theatre entrance. From there, there will be someone indicating you where to go.
- Schedule
Please aim to arrive at the Opera House by no later than 6 am
6.15 am Walk in, grab your coffee, and take your seat!
6.40 am ceremony start
7:00 am time for breakfast and mingle
9.30 am wrap.
- Coffee order, dietary requirements and RSVP!
In order to speed up the first coffee service, please fill in your coffee order so we can have it ready for you upon arrival, to avoid waiting time! We also want to make sure we cater for GF, V, VG... so please let us know your dietary requirements on your RSVP!
